SunRay Sedona 100K vs Sun Home Equinox 2

Compare a compact lower-priced infrared cabinet with a larger full-spectrum configuration: space, supply and quotation scope.

The Sedona has a smaller recorded exterior and a 15A supply requirement; this Equinox 2 record specifies 20A and a larger enclosure. Compare the actual layout and included heater system, not the seating label.

These are manufacturer and seller specifications. Missing installation requirements remain unresolved; neither model is declared the universal winner. We have not tested heat distribution, comfort or reliability.

Two different ways to use limited room

The Sedona is sold as a one-to-two-person cabinet, while Equinox 2 uses a two-person label. Those descriptions do not establish equivalent usable seating. The scale diagram uses each recorded exterior envelope so you can see the size trade-off without assuming comfort or personal fit.

The Sedona’s narrower exterior may make it worth investigating where width is constrained. Confirm its interior arrangement, actual door movement and the people who will use it. The wider Equinox cabinet still needs its own documented installation allowances; an exterior rectangle is not the required room size.

The 120V label hides a supply difference

Both selected records use 120V, but Sedona lists 15A and Equinox 2 specifies a dedicated 20A supply. They are not interchangeable solely because of voltage. Check the current exact-model manual, connector and site supply before deciding which configuration is practical.

Our Sedona family-manual review did not establish numeric wall or overhead allowances. Those fields remain open. Equinox 2 has more specific recorded allowances, which can reveal a conflict in a room even where the cabinet alone appears to fit. Compare the question list as well as the visible dimensions.

Compare equipment and the cost you will actually pay

The products describe different infrared equipment: Sedona uses carbon infrared heaters, while this Equinox 2 is sold as full-spectrum. That is a specification distinction, not evidence that one will produce a particular health result. We have not tested either system.

Review the dated cabinet amounts, options, tax and delivery level. The Sedona printable sheet and product page displayed different prices, so recheck the exact live offer. Use the budget tool to include the service costs you know and keep the unquoted work unresolved.

Use the same scenario for both candidates

Run each exact configuration through the fit tool with the same measured room and known supply. If one fails a documented condition, the conflict is actionable. If the remaining result needs confirmation, request the missing information before treating the shortlist as an order recommendation.

Choose the next seller conversation around the difference that matters in your home: usable seating, width, supply preparation, equipment scope or an incomplete allowance. The site provides sourced planning information and ordinary seller links; it does not supply an installation approval or an exclusive offer.
